About
Rebeca Bordini
Rebeca Bordini is a ceramic artist born and raised in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. She started working with ceramics in 2024 and has lived in Stockholm and Lisbon before moving to Amsterdam — where she is currently based.
Her work revolves around experimentation and refined design. Each piece is thrown or hand-built in stoneware, fired in a shared studio in Amsterdam, and finished with glazes she mixes herself.
Details matter to her — she designed the logo herself. Her greatest aesthetic reference is Alessandro Michele's Gucci circa 2016: the past so maximally itself that it becomes radical. She believes the old and the new are not opposites — that the most ancient materials and the most emergent technologies are, philosophically, the same gesture: humans insisting on making things.
